OPCIONAL: Stone-setting individual classes under specific scheduling and pricing.
Schedule:
Option 1: tuesday to friday 10:00-13:00 + tuesday to thursday 14:30-17:30 + 3 hours/week of unmonitored individual practice in workshop. Total 21h/week minimum.
Option 2: tuesday to thursday 14:30-17:30 pm + 18:00-21:00 + additional theoretical-practical classes in the morning during the first 3-4 months of the course + 3 hours/week of unmonitored individual practice in workshop. Total 21h/week minimum
About this course:
To foster technical autonomy in jewelry making through the execution of technical exercises and creative projects.
You will acquire fundamental technical skills working with metals and gemstones.
Access to this course is open to all. No jewelry making experience is required.
Experienced students go through a process of equivalence attribution, through the presentation of works/portfolio.

Objetives:
Acquire fundamental technical skills in the manufacture of jewellery with precious metals.
Who is it for:
Anyone wanting to be introduced to jewellery making or to consolidate tecnhical skills.
Learn with this course:
Theory of materials & production
Identify and characterize materials (including gemstones), techniques, processes and technologies used in jewelry manufacturing.
Jewellery making techniques and creative project development
Define and use themes, explore form, developing concepts of three-dimensionality, ergonomics, relationship with the body.
Evaluate, select, and plan the materials and production techniques to be used, including stones, alloys, measures, weights, execution times and steps.
Master the fundamental processes and techniques of jewelry making, namely sawing, filing, sanding, casting, soldering, fixing and polishing, including various types of finishings;
Execute advanced processes and techniques in wax and precious metals related to traditional jewelry-making;
Produce original pieces of jewellery.
OPCIONAL Stone-setting techniques, subject to specific pricing.
Certificate:
For students with at least 90% of sessions attendance.
Price includes insurance and all materials (except gold and precious stones, if applicable). VAT free course.
Participant keeps the pieces produced.
